Education

TreeGrace Farms helps young people to sow a brighter future by bringing hundreds of children to the farm every year to learn the importance of agriculture and responsible land stewardship.  At our annual Earth Day celebration, schoolchildren come to help plant seeds, enjoy the petting zoo, play games, and participate in educational workshops.

TreeGrace Farms sponsors the School Garden project at Iles Elementary and Roscoe-Wilson Elementary in Lubbock, where we provide soil, seeds, and know-how in starting an organic garden. We are excited to join Ilse Elementary’s magnet school in it’s diverse and innovative teaching program, which emphasizes fine arts and media.

TreeGrace Farms is a partner with Core Knowledge, an educational program focused on academic excellence, greater fairness, and higher literacy for elementary and middle schools.
